Miggy Borbas’ collection Discreet Luxury contrasts natural linen with the shiny patterned luxurious feel of brocade and the glossy shine of silk jersey.
Embellishment of beads and rhinestones on the waistband and dress panels adds to the sumptuousness of the brocade and furthers the contrast of the linen.
Styles of dresses and skirts from the 1920s and the big puffy sleeves of the 1980’s were the initial inspiration. Therefore, the collection of eveningwear is a fusion 1920’s and 1980’s.
