Today some key debates on what art is, can be or ought to be, centre on the way art is encountered.  Art can ask all sorts of questions of the individual and the collective that can provoke or facilitate new experiences and encounters.

My own practice revolves around how social identity is formed through the impact of everyday events both local and global.  By using various mediums such as installation, soft sculpture, film and photography I intend to investigate everyday events to facilitate new experiences and encounters for the viewer.

Liked your installation – very atmospheric. Got a bit frightened when I thought the sounds were those of the door shutting….
