Harriet Quilty
The feel of pencil as it glides over paper, dripping paint from a brush stroke, dirty texture, smudges, people, quirky hand drawn text and the joys of Photoshop are just a few of the things that rock my little sailing boat. Oh yes, and the challenge of a new brief!
You might find all of these elements in my work, or you might only find two (I’m not talking about the brief here), but a pencil drawing is always found somewhere in the image.
For my Final Project, and the work I have published here, I have designed a set of spoof posters that are, hopefully, a little humorous, ironic and thought provoking.
I am really passionate about illustration and art and am very grateful for the opportunity I have had to be able to study and develop my work at Cambridge School of Art. Thank you.
