Zoe Louise

For my Final Major project I chose a controversial subject matter, and illustrated Nabokov’s novel ‘Lolita’. It is about a middle aged man’s love and obsession with a twelve year old girl. I concentrated on Lolita’s emotions as the story progresses.

I am also displaying my book ‘Evan and Gordon’, which was a personal project about my autistic older brother and the conversations he has with his cuddly toy dog.

Googled my name in a moment of boredom and here I am!

Had to leave a comment as I am also an Artist (BA (hons) Fine Art), studied illustration for my BTEC NatDip and have an autistic son! My degree show work was black and white portraiture in oils based on my sister’s struggle with depression/mental illness.

Just wanted to say ‘hi’ and ‘small world’ eh?

    Lovely work!

    Zo
