Originally from a fine art background I decided to focus on moving art during my foundation year. Over the last 3 years my study in animation has progressed and evolved. Most of my work involves hand-drawn, from simple pencil to painted in inks or oils, animation that creates a cocktail of fantasy and real life imagery. The work focuses on creating illusions of space, light and movement. For my final major project I approached the metal band Orestea to produce a music video for the song ‘Drive’. The animation is all hand-drawn in ink.
