This series of images is based on common sexual fantasies within the human mind. I wanted to create a series of photographs that explore the many different sexual fantasies that we as humans share. Everybody fantasises. Whether you sit and daydream on a regular basis about your sexual desires or you just give a quick passing thought to a sexual experience you’ve had, these thoughts are fantasies.
I used dolls as the subjects of my photographs because I wanted to remove the taboos, placed by society, on human sexual expression from my images. I want them be viewed openly and fairly as photographic art and not as pornography.
My aim for these images is to provoke thought within the viewers mind about their own sexual fantasies and desires and to be able to relate them to the ones that I have presented to them in my photographs.
