Vanessa Sheldon
My work varies, and has included the appropriation of old master paintings. Recently I have started using collage. I enjoy playing with images that are not quite what we think they are supposed to be. I can create my own worlds that are dream-like fantasies and just a little bit weird.
- On Veridian Fields – Acrylic and Collage. 4ft x 4ft – 2011
- Barbie. The Dream Horse – Oil on canvas. 5ft x 6ft. 2011.
- Suddenly, Kirk realised he was no longer in Kansas – Oil paint and collage on canvas, 6ft x 4ft. 2011.

Hi Vanessa, my daughter Caroline came to the exhibition at Anglia Ruskin because we know Juliana Carey (Jules). Please let me know how much ‘Barbie. The Dream Horse’ is, both the canvas and a print.
