Liam McMahon
Fashion, Portrait, Typographical and Editorial illustration are my main areas of work, as I relish the fast paced nature of the work. My style is fairly minimal, only concentrating on the most important and communicative elements of a composition.
I like to try and challenge myself and communicate information in a direct and memorable way that engages people straight away when viewing an image. My exhibition comprises of 9 images illustrating the wonderful Mark Fast’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, which was full of bold knitwear and leather designs. The other work displayed here and in my portfolio comprise of the more editorial based work, still encompassing my love for portraiture and minimalism but often interoperating typography, which I have began to develop into a much more personal style.
