Jelena Znamenska
I am a young interior designer, a creative thinker who has always had a passion for art. I have tried to bring these ideas to my design work, focusing on colour, light and spatial concepts.
Interior design is more than just my occupation. It is my passion and I want to dedicate my life to it.
Integrative school for children with Cerebral Palsy
Children 11-16 years of age
Cerebral Palsy is the severe disorder of the central nervous system of the person. It requires not only long and complicated treatment, but great support from surrounding people and, especially, support from the surrounding environment.
My design of the interior of the school is based on curvy shapes with no sharp edges. Soft materials make the rooms more comfortable to be in and new technologies and materials inspire the children, encouraging students’ development and learning.
I wanted to show how important it is to make a pleasant and creative environment for all the students, despite their disabilities. In my project, I have researched new technologies which will work with existing medical standards and regulations.
