The Fine Art BA at Cambridge School of Art is now in its 5th year. The work presented in the 2010 degree show is extremely diverse and ranges from painting and sculpture to digital media and video.
As well as the high point of the academic year, a degree show is also the natural conclusion to an extended period of study for Fine Art students. During the BA course these students have exhibited at venues as diverse as the Cambridge Botanical Gardens, an ex-Habitat Building and an ex-Zavvi shop, Clare Hall and the Ruskin Gallery. College trips have taken place to Berlin, Madrid, the Frieze Art Fair, and the Tate Galleries. They have discussed art, made art, sold art, and taken art apart.
It has been a pleasure to see these 2010 graduates develop into artists. On behalf of everyone at Cambridge School of Art, I congratulate them on an excellent degree show and wish them the best for their future careers.
