The three years’ study that they have undertaken at Cambridge School of Art has taken all of us on a journey of discovery that has led to final projects encompassing designs for theatre, film and costume, to investigative studio designs, and to hard practical work on realised designs for stage and for the camera.
On the way, we have got to know Willy Loman, visited Broadway, put some Greek tragedies on stage, made films about mass-murderers, Hell, and a Pirate Queen, and undergone the Tempest. Some of us took in theatre design from around the world at the Prague Quadrennial 2011. My thanks to all of you, and the very best wishes for your futures.
