Illustration & Animation

2012 sees the graduation of the fourth cohort of students from the B.A. Illustration & Animation course. This year has seen widespread recognition for the students' achievements: Marc Moynihan's film won Red Bull's Canimation Competition; Jack Lowson's "Tea For Two" was shortlisted for Best Animation at Exposures Film Festival; Rebecca Mountain's film was shortlisted for The Searle Award, and a number of students' films were selected for screening at the Fete de L'Anim Festival in Lille and The Cambridge Film Festival. The work in the Degree Show reflects the students’ individual passion and flair, showing a wide variety of approach in terms of subject and medium.

I congratulate the students on their fine achievements, and am confident they have bright future ahead of them.
