Fine Art

BA Fine Art at Cambridge School of Art is now well established as an exciting degree course where students seek to challenge themselves through a wide variety of working practices. Its diversity is something to celebrate. Since its inception in 2005, graduating cohorts have built upon the experience of previous years through adopting ambitious approaches to Fine Art practice that reflect the broad range of contemporary art they are exposed to.

Studying a Fine Art BA is not an easy task to undertake, and the graduates of 2011 should be applauded for rising to the challenge. The resulting range of idiosyncratic and eclectic practices, with experimentation in a wide range of media and contexts, has created a fascinating and dynamic exhibition that shows the success of the Fine Art course in attracting so many talented individuals. Congratulations are due for the 2011 degree show. I wish all these students every success in their future careers.
